Lesson methodology and strategies

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Private lesson

We have developed a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) based on over 12 years of teaching experience.

A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a set of detailed, step-by-step instructions an organisation creates to help teachers perform routine tasks consistently, efficiently, and correctly. It ensures quality, reduces errors, maintaining compliance with the syllabus of AMEB and promotes uniformity across all lessons. Our SOP guides every teacher in delivering a well-structured lesson format that develops music-reading skills, technical ability, and a love of learning. This consistent approach has helped many students achieve AMEB Grade 8 and above.

Flexible Approach

Our SOP includes multiple frameworks that are tailored to students with different personalities, learning styles, and strengths.

Group lesson

Lasting impact

We provide clear guidance, model integrity in musicianship, and foster curiosity, enabling students to think independently and develop deep musical understanding.

Our group lessons are exclusively available for primary schools and early learning centres.

Our team has a wealth of experience in delivering group music classes to select primary schools in Sydney since 2014. These group classes serve as an excellent introduction for beginners, providing a foundational understanding of how to play the piano and guitar.

We follow the UK Oxford learning method to instil a passion for the instruments, along with teaching basic note reading and theory. We firmly believe that a strong fundamental understanding of music is the cornerstone of a successful musical journey for years to come.

With our extensive experience in planning and implementing introductory music programs in various schools, we are dedicated to delivering effective and high-quality music education in Sydney's schools.

Our private lesson program is designed for students seeking rigorous musical development in the areas of examination preparation, professional training, and performance practice.

The program provides a structured pathway toward sustained musical achievement and artistic growth, delivered by qualified instructors with extensive pedagogical experience.

Over the years, numerous students have progressed to AMEB Grade 8 and beyond, with many continuing into advanced study and the broader performing arts sector. Lessons are offered in 30-, 45-, and 60-minute formats to accommodate individual learning needs and developmental goals
