Alan Tang

Alan is a highly skilled musician boasting more than three decades of piano expertise and 25 years of guitar mastery. With an impressive teaching record exceeding 20,000 hours, Alan approaches every lesson with boundless enthusiasm, unfettered creativity, and impeccable technique in both piano and guitar. His instructional sessions are known for their enjoyable, laid-back, and dynamic atmosphere, catering to individuals of all ages, including children and adults. Alan's base is in Sydney's North Shore, but he's also available for lessons in the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore areas. Furthermore, Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Macquarie University and a Certificate of Performance in piano from AMEB, underscoring his commitment to excellence in both music and education.
Nicholas Kennedy (Piano and Guitar Teacher)
Nicholas is a committed and passionate teacher for both guitar and piano. With his accomplishment of Grade 8 AMEB in piano, he leverages his extensive knowledge and expertise to deliver engaging and supportive lessons to his students. His teaching approach emphasizes the development of expression and motor skills while ensuring that learning remains enjoyable.
Nicholas's profound love for music is evident in his own performance skills, and he takes great pleasure in sharing this passion with all of his students. He is based on the North Shore and is available to offer lessons in the Lower North Shore and Upper North Shore areas.
Anna Hong (Piano Teacher)
Anna is a seasoned educator with a background in tutoring both high school and primary school students prior to joining Alan Tang Music. Known for her exceptional kindness and patience, she has endeared herself to a multitude of students. Her profound understanding of music serves as a wellspring of inspiration for her students, motivating them to persist in their practice
STEPHANIE HO (Piano Teacher)
Stephanie joined Alan Tang Music in 2019 and has since proven to be an exceptional and passionate piano teacher. She finds immense joy in imparting her love for music to her students. Beyond her musical talents, Stephanie is an aspiring mountaineer, having undertaken remarkable expeditions to both the North Pole and South Pole. She holds the distinction of achieving Grade 8 AMEB in piano.
Stephanie is based on the North Shore and is available to provide lessons in the Lower North Shore and Upper North Shore areas.
Rachael Lin (Piano and guitar teacher)
Rachael is a dedicated and captivating teacher for both piano and guitar. Her background includes significant experience in youth leadership, where she has successfully taught and mentored children and young adults. Additionally, Rachael actively participates in musical performances for local organizations, further enhancing her expertise.
Rachael's diverse experiences make her well-equipped to support students of all abilities, enabling them to unlock their full potential. She is based on the North Shore and is available to provide lessons in the Lower North Shore and Upper North Shore areas.
Angelica Tan (Piano Teacher)
Angelica is a dedicated individual who values hard work and strategic learning. In 2019, she achieved distinctions in both AMEB Musicianship and Grade 8 exams. Her resolute approach to life serves as an inspiration to her students, striking a harmonious balance between perseverance and creativity.
